I’ve always like the simplicity of Zen gardens. They often make use of rocks with only a few plants as highlights. On a walk in the neighborhood, I found a Zen garden that I attempted to capture with my cellphone. None of the photos are as sharp as I would like, but I hope you get the idea. May your life be touched by the grace and beauty of simplicity.

I would love to create a Zen garden. Even though rocks will be the primary feature, I have such a poor track record keeping plants alive, I suspect it would be a cruel injustice to inflict on an otherwise happy plant.

True. and my wife has suggested that we get fake plants, but something about a living thing adds immeasurably to the serenity.
What I REALLY need is a gardener ( and who can clean dishes and take care of laundry since I’m dreaming;) )
