Desert Dreams

desert, dreams, poetry

sensual sandstone

sentinels of ancient days

when inland seas flow

wonders of time past

arches reaching back to zen

the still point of love

I believe this photo is from Arches National Park in Utah or nearby in Colorado. Either way, it speaks to me of the timeless beauty of the Southwest US. If you’re as fascinated by the eroded sandstone features as I am, here is more information about how the landscape formed.

  1. Your poetry enhanced the curves of these rocks Brad, Such beautiful stark landscapes reminding me of the moorland sandstone I walked among and which I have painted.. Weather beaten and worn… But beautiful come dawn..

Love and Hugs my friend, enjoy your Friday 🙂
