Imagine Peace

Let’s pray for peace.

With all the tension in Syria and the Middle East, this post seems appropriate to share again. I’ve always been drawn to peace and hope, as many do, that we can create a world of peace and love. Will you join me in sending out prayers and peaceful energies?

I’d like to help create an energy of peace for Syria and the Middle East. As much as I understand and even admire people willing to protest the wrongs of wars, governments and injustice, I don’t believe it creates the right conditions for peace. 1. Love your thoughts. I’ve often thought this. Just this morning, I was wondering about Israel and Hamas and I thought, when will we humans embrace peace instead of conflict? Peace is just so much better and so much better for the planet, animals, and people in general. One day soon, I hope. 🙂

    • Thanks Cyndi, I appreciate you visiting and commenting. Peace is a core value for me, that’s why I’m part of the Bloggers for Peace (B4Peace) group. And I truly believe the more folks who focus on peace rather than adding to the conflict, even if only with their attention, the better for all. Peace out! 🙂

  2. I quiet agree with your thoughts that direct protest doesn’t help the cause for peace. It can bring forth its own confrontational energy which can feed exactly what your fighting against. And there it is in the language ‘fighting for peace’ – an oxymoron 🙂 Thanks to your blog for leading me to ‘bloggers for peace’, far better we spread peace in whatever way we can. I believe the light of peace, in our minds, many, many minds, is the only way to combat the darkness of war. I hope I’m right 🙂

    • Hi Robert. Thanks for visiting my blog. I totally agree with you. I’ve never seen or experienced peace created through conflict, war, resisting, etc. I hope more people catch on to this. Let’s be models of peace.
