delicate blossoms
sensual shapes and colors
vibrating with life
nature’s beauty unfolding
a symphony for the heart
~

Flowers have gotten me through many a dark time. They bring me such joy with their vibrant colors, delicate petals, sensual shapes, and ephemeral beauty. Flowers remind me to cherish the moment and give thanks for the grace of beauty, pollination, and the rhythms of life. I miss my own gardens while being grateful for our small community garden where I can feed my soul and watch the beauty of nature at play. The community garden has been thrumming with life; a festival of colors, shapes, insects, birds, and humans.

May we cherish the flowers that feed our souls and planet.
Beautiful photos.

Thank you, as always, for your great photos!!! Hurrah for flowers!!! I also love your use of language in both your poem and your prose — especially the word “thrumming.” (“The community garden has been thrumming with life; a festival of colors, shapes, insects, birds, and humans.”)

I love flowers too, Brad! I’ve never been very good in the garden…but where I live now we have an orchid lady. She has put orchids in just about every tree throughout the property! What a stunning time when the all bloom…they make me happy!
Hope you have a super week ahead!
