Macro Moments

velvety textures
plant life brimming with color
my silken treasures

I’ve been busy with a new job and not very inspired to write, so here is a short poem and update to say hello, Happy New Year, and thanks for being part of my online family. I appreciate each of you. Blogging has been an amazing adventure. I recently passed 8 years and 6000 subscribers on this blog. I am grateful to those of you who support me with likes, comments, and love, or simply visit with no interaction. You have warmed my heart and given me a reason to keep on writing even when I don’t feel inspired. Thank you for sharing the journey with me.
May 2021 be a year of healing and compassion.
Brad

Brad, your silken treasure and photos of leaves are gorgeous.
As is your poem.
Healing and compassion is indeed what the world needs always and now we are walking
In confusion and fear.
We need the “ plant life brimming with colour”.

I want to get lost in the details of that green leaf. The way the water plays on the texture of this life form reminds me of the value of looking closely at what is in front of me. I’m happy to be here, and grateful to be part of your blog family. Wishing you a lot of contentment with what you are feeling, thinking, intuiting. May we all find more healing and compassion in this world.
