Nature Inspired Spirits
Debra Bernier creates nature-inspired sculptures that touch my soul. I love both her process and her creations. Debra works with driftwood found in her native Victoria, BC, Canada. Before doing any carving, she studies a piece to discover its story and essence. She fuses nature and feminity, speaking to the eternal connection between nature and creation. Debra incorporates natural found elements like stones, shells, and leaves into her sculptures. Her pieces reflect the feminine aspect of nature and speak to my soul.
