Rocky Mountain High

fields of columbines

This is another beautiful image from my friend Gayle Fetik. She travels routinely to Colorado, posting photos and stirring up my longing to return to the beauty of Colorado. John Denver immortalized the beauty of Colorado in his classic song Rocky Mountain High.
May nature inspire your week.
The serenity of a clear blue mountain lake..<3

Most recently I was up in Cheyenne Canyon. Pretty touristy but still an awesome canyon. I wish now I’d taken some pics.

That sounds nice Paul. A big part of why I take pics is for the memories and sharing the beauty.

There is much to enjoy. The black canyons of Gunnison are really nice if you’re up for a hard descent.

I didn’t even know about that – I’ll definitely add it to my list and do some research.

That song had a profound effect on me in the seventies. This is a beautiful version. Thanks for keeping it alive with this inspiring post. Good message.
