The red sandstone formations stand as sentinels in the valley, watching over man and earth. Walking through the Garden of the Gods park near Colorado Springs, CO is like walking through an alien landscape, foreign yet fascinating. The second photo is my friend Gayle’s view of the park.
Nature sure is an amazing artist. What’s the most amazing park that you have visited?

Love the photos and information. It brings back some memories when I visited there a few years back. I was amazed. It does feel like you are back in time. My camera wasn’t very good then so I hope to get there again soon with better capability. I enjoy Colorado Springs and Garden of the Gods is one of my favorite in the area. Thanks for the post.

Thanks Ron. I would love to get back there myself. It’s been over 15 years since I’ve visited Colorado. I love the mountains and rock formations.

Very nice indeed. I guess the most amazing park I’ve ever visited is the White Desert in Egypt, I literally felt like I was in heaven😊
