The truth is that I’d rather be out in a beautiful pristine mountain forest, filled with trees, flowers, and running water. But, I’ve also learned to appreciate the urban scenery, especially the various styles of homes and gardens. This home, with its classic architecture and landscaping, was a visual treat.
beautiful, Brad, what is this white stuff? Regards Mitza

Thanks Mitza. They are azalea bushes densely planted and heavily trimmed to form a wall of blossoms!

Thanks Robbie. I agree and miss my home and gardens, so I make a point to enjoy other ones that catch my fancy.

Beautiful haiku, Brad. I’ve seen some urban gardens that are so beautiful and creative. I’m glad you’re taking the time to notice them. 🙂

Thanks Diana. Since I don’t live near national parks anymore, I’ve learned to notice the beauty around me and in urban settings.

It’s a super home…and great photo, Brad! (Love the Haiku too 😁)
I have to wonder if you took it the day of your bike ride?

Thanks Lorrie. No, this was a different day walking around downtown in an older neighborhood with lots of interesting homes.

What a set of photos to match your words ~ a wall of flowers. Fantastic ~ and I learned from above what they are “white azalea” 🙂
