Sweet Surprises
~
nature’s beauty glows
delicate purple flowers
reaching to my heart
~
I love flowers of all shapes, sizes, and colors. And finding beautiful flowers like these purple ones popping up among the dead leaves during spring’s awakening is a particularly nice surprise. These delicate purple flowers were blooming last week on my hike through the Steel Creek section of the Buffalo River.
May your week be full of sweet surprises.
May your week continue with sweet surprises every day, filling your heart with joy. Lovely poem and photo, Brad.

So glad you took that photo, Brad, and shared your poem. Ain’t nature grand? Such pretty flowers. I wonder what they are called.(And don’t say “flowers”!)

Ha! Snow in the forecast for the weekend. I expect we’ll go straight from “winter” to 90 degrees — eventually.

Oops! My mom was grumbling about that too! 🙂 We’re having a freeze tonight, but no snow.

Is that a pennywort, Brad? Really nice, we do have such flowers here, too. I think they also come in white colors. Regards Mitza

It seems like spring is definitely your season with this poem, “nature’s beauty glows…reaching to my heart” Beautiful words and a great way to begin this new season ~ what I always consider the true start to the new year. Now with this truth spoken in a poem, just got to go out and make it happen 🙂 Cheers!

Had some sunshine and warming up of the weather this week, so I think it is safe to say spring has now arrived. Cheers to a great day, Brad.
