I love watching herons. Sometimes they won’t let me get near, but other times they seem so intent on their own hunt that they allow me closer access for taking photos. Thankfully, this one cooperated with me on my bike ride along the Razorback Greenway, which is a 36-mile regional shared-use bike trail in NW Arkansas.
Your patience was rewarded and I hope the Herons was also.. Beautiful photo shot Brad.. 🙂 and what a wonderful place for a bike ride.. 🙂

Beautifully written Brad. We just so enjoy watching these magnificent birds whether in flight or perched along a water way. Wonder why the knee caps are on backwards.
