All Saints’ Day, aka All Hallows’ Day, All Souls Day, Hallowmas, or Feast of All Saints, is a Christian celebration to honor saints with festivals and church services. It is celebrated on different days in various Christian traditions and based on the idea that there is a bond between the living and the dead. Here’s a helpful article examining All Saints’ Day, Halloween and their connection.

Regardless of your faith or beliefs, it can be a time to reflect on the connections between all people. May we honor the dead by living fully in love, creating hallowed spaces wherever we are.

Hallowed All Souls Day!

  1. You look at pix of places like Sweden and it makes you feel somewhat cheap and pathetic to be here in America with all of its toxic candy, cheap toxic plastic costumes etc. and there they are in a beautiful cemetery all lit up with candles and respectfulness…Thanks for sharing. It gives us all something to admire and hopefully live up to one day.BTW, wonderful poem Brad……VK 🙂
