An Intentional Year
I’ve been giving thought to what kind of year (and life) that I want to have. For too long I’ve drifted from one day to the next. And it’s not as if I’m living spontaneously in the moment. Mostly, I’ve been living in routine and old patterns. This year I aim to be more intentional about my life.
In the four years that I’ve been blogging, I’ve never missed a week, partly due to my diligence and partly due to my fear of losing the flow with my blog and readers. One change that is likely for 2016 will be a more spontaneous posting schedule with more digital holidays. I haven’t been feeling inspired to write much the last few months. I believe part of that is needing some time to unplug from blogs, email and social media. I digest so much information from outside sources. I want to allow more spaces in my life for my authentic self and voice to emerge.
I’ve also been feeling the call of photography, travel and adventure. To support my intention to create a more intentional year, I’m going to take a brief digital holiday. Therefore, I won’t be posting for the next week or two. I hope to come back inspired, fresh and clear on what kind of life I’d like to create. Let’s see what I can cook up for 2016. 🙂Thank you for your kind and loving support. I am routinely touched, amazed and grateful for the connections that I’ve made through the blogging community. Here is the WordPress 2015 Report for my site if you’re interested. It’s been another year of growth and connection. Much more than stats or numbers of subscribers, I appreciate everyone for reading, commenting, sharing and connecting. Thank you for enriching my life.
Farewell 2015 and see you in 2016. May we create with peace, love and joy in our hearts.
Sounds like a wonderful plan. Alas, this is what I had to do with my blog. And well…I admit it’s languished a bit. But it’s also made room for other things to come to fruition in my life. Getting away and changing your routine is one of the neatest ways to rekindle and recalibrate. I hope you have an awesome 2016.

I think you are really moving into your power Brad! We will miss your steady posts, but I speak from experience…when I was not able to be here as much as I would like I also had fear of losing connection. It couldn’t have been more unfounded…it is like having a safe place where wonderful souls are there for you WHENEVER you can be there yourself. You know I am so grateful for our connection. ..and I can promise you…we will always have that. So go Brad…throw your hands in the air and follow your heart…it will never lead you astray!! ♡♡

Love these photos, the lead in shot was superb with color and also feeling. This is a good way to start a year, to title it “an intentional year” I think I may borrow this logic as well 🙂 Wishing you the best in 2016 Brad, the most successful year yet ~
