lighting up the skies
with fire and electricity
the smell of danger lingers

thunder rattles the valley
senses tingling in alertness
primal urges to run
the hunt has begun

Like lightning, inspiration struck from Mike Oblinski’s storm-charged photography, quickly lighting up my senses. I wonder if Mike feels these primal urges during his storm chasing?

Oh I so miss rain and storms when they’ve been gone as long as they have from here. Thank you so much for at least reminding me what they are like. I know lightning can be dangerous but I just love watching it.
