Divine Beauty

Divine Beautypoetry, love, romance, humor

her beauty is so wondrous

time stopped to watch

then she kissed his lips

and his heart did back flips

~

lost in an ocean of feeling

his mind is still reeling

lest you think he’s a fool

remember the golden rule

~

now this silly story concludes

it’s not about fancy attitudes

when we surrender to love

we gain glories undreamed of

~

This is a silly ode to early crushes and fumbled attempts at love. Wendy was my earth, sun and moon!  🙂

  1. Such love radiates from that old photograph. It perfectly illustrates the point that sometimes the best photos aren’t technically perfect in the slightest! All good things to you Brad – it seems you are feeling nostalgic this week;-)

  2. I thought that there were simply no words that could possibly convey that magical feeling of being head over heels in love. Alas, I was wrong – I felt those same emotions well up upon reading your poem. Thank you, Brad, for the wonderful trip down memory lane 🙂

  3. I love it Brad!! How wonderful! Your photo actually reminded me of one I had back when I was head over heels in love as a teenager!! You made me take a trip down memory lane 🙂 What is awesome is that even though those relationships didn’t work out…we can look at our photos and remember something special that was going on then! Thanks Brad! ❤
