Divine Play

Divine Playpoetry, family, fun

her kisses were so silly

his tummy went willy-nilly

grandma sure can tickle

now he’s stuck in a pickle

if she doesn’t let go soon

he’ll jump over the moon!

~

I needed some comic relief so I wrote this goofy verse about my Mom and nephew.

To play and love in all forms. 🙂

  1. Divine indeed Brad 😉 I have seen it time and time again – there is something magical about a relationship between grandparent and grandchild. I have been on one end of the equation so far, and hope to be fortunate enough to see the other perspective sometime later in my life. Thanks for sharing, this is a wonderful touch of whimsy that is much needed in an otherwise too serious world! 🙂

    • I’m glad you have children and the prospect of grandkids. It does seem to be a magical relationship. Parenting is another joy and blessing that I have not participated in directly. But I enjoy being an uncle and friend to children, and of course, we all can play! 🙂
