Farewell Sweet and Sour 2014

Farewell Sweet and Sour 20142014 farewell post

I find that I can not go quietly in the night

I must acknowledge the darkness and light

filled with bubbling joys and crashing lows

this messy human life as time flows

with your support my hope grows

rooted in love and divine glows

~

Please join me in celebrating 2014!

This year has pushed me to the limits with dramatic highs and lows. 2014 was one of the hardest years that I can remember, filled with financial losses and emotional pains. Yet, interspersed have been bubbling joys from garden goodness, self-discovery and our growing WordPress community. My challenges have been faced with courage and compassion, though too little choice and action. Fear and analysis have often kept me locked in a prison of routine.

This coming year, I pledge to add the power of action to build my courage, commitment and contribution. My key focus for 2015 is action. It’s time to repair my finances, contribute my gifts and answer the call of love.

As we bid farewell to 2014, I sincerely thank each of you for your love and support. Your posts, likes, comments and shares have nurtured me, growing roots of confidence, inspiration and friendship. I carry you in my heart, a treasure trove of blessings. Our blogging community is one of the truly bright spots for 2014. My subscribers have doubled from 2013 with visits tripling. If you’re interested, here’s my annual blog report from the WordPress stat monkeys. Our connections nurture my heart and soul.

Thank you for adding to my blog and life.

P.S. Yes, I’m mostly still on digital break and will return on January 3rd. 🙂

Happy New Year my friends!

wishing you the sweetest of dreams, along with the courage to act on them

  1. It’s interesting those years that are so challenging that we bid them good riddance. 2012 and 2013 were like that for me. There were some low lows and high highs…and since then, I vowed to not let life beat me up again like that. I guess what I took from that was that I could make a choice to look at the sour situation and learn lessons from it. But more than that, 2014 was a good year and I’m infinitely grateful for the good things. Perhaps that is the lesson I was supposed to learn: to appreciate the good times and never take them for granted.
Sending vibes and hugs for a spectacular 2015! It’s going to be great. I know it!

  2. One of the beauties of life we can count on is cycles, and ’15 may be the year of all great years for you 🙂 Very much like your statement “challenges have been faced with courage and compassion” that is a very noble outlook and one I hope to emulate. Cheers to a great ’15 Brad ~

  3. The wish you offer in your final sentence is so inspiring – wishing you the sweetest of dreams, along with the courage to act on them.

Your contribution to the WordPress community as well as to me personally over the time I have been connected to you over the previous year has been a true blessing. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with all of your readers – you make embodying my important principles of authenticity and vulnerability so much more achievable through your own actions – thank you!

I try to remind myself that although we have a fresh start to a new year today on January 1st, each week, each day, each moment provides us with the same opportunity 🙂 May your every moment of 2015 be filled with dreams fulfilled through courageous action!

  7. You know I love it, B, the commitment to action. =) If we do nothing different, everything will stay the same, right? Nothing profound. I have been so happy to watch your blog grow. Big pat on the back for the movement forward there. Let me know if you’d like a peek at my annual – but no obligation. Gee, how do you pass on the offer without seeming rude, right? No, just tell me you’re busy with job queries and resumes and I’ll gladly let you be. =)

    Xx
