Silent Days, Holy Nights

Silent Days, Holy Nightssilence, retreat, peace

Thanks for all you give me in words, hugs, support and encouragement.

Feeling the call to unplug from digital distractions and busyness, I am giving myself a digital holiday from today until January 3rd.

I will be taking a break from posting, commenting, social media, TV and email. This will allow time free of digital distractions to savor life, sweet silence and stillness. I feel the urge to slow down, savor life and relish in the divine presence. I will also be taking a break from reading and commenting on your lovely blogs, but I will carry you in my heart. I believe this break will help me sort out my situation, while becoming more rooted in peace, love and spirit. In other words, a great way to start the new year.

May you find time for tuning to the divine this holiday season. May your days be merry and bright, silent and peaceful, or whatever nourishes your soul.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

  1. Enjoy your technology fast. I did one in June. I would have done one over this break from school, but I wanted to write so badly, I couldn’t help myself. 🙂
Enjoy the holidays with your loved ones. See you soon! HUGS!

  2. What a great idea! I love unplugging … I am unplugged from a lot of media 100% of the time 😉 You can always write with a pen and journal … my preferred way to write the first draft of anything important 🙂 Hope your time away is amazingly productive.
