Christmas Cheers To You!
a writing cove filled with light
fingers on keyboards tapping
clever new verses rapping
~
traditionalists are singing
with jingle bells ringing
the children are playing
bursting and braying
~
anxious reindeers barking
with Santa and Elves harking
keeping their fears at bay
joining the merry fray
~
offering you my cheer
a sacred blessing for the year
given from a loving heart
is a beautiful start
~
This photo was taken a couple of years ago while playing with my nephew and Mom watching. I miss my family, but won’t be headed to Virginia to see them this holiday. I’m reminding myself to get out, play and serve. The best cure for a lonely heart is to sing, dance, play or offer some cheer. By giving freely, we often find the true meaning of Christmas. Thanks for all the love, encouragement and friendship that you have given me this year. A joyful gift and blessing indeed. 🙂
May your blessings be multiplied with a loving heart.
Merry Christmas

Fun and engaging poem Brad, thanks for sharing. However, the real message for me lies in your short paragraph at the end – by giving freely, we often find the true meaning of Christmas. Thank you for the reminder and may your holidays continue to be filled with joy, happiness, and warmth my friend 😉

Thank you, dear friend for all the encouragement and appreciation you showed to me. I’m grateful and filled with a piece of same Light you carry in your heart. Christmas has different colors while it’s a time for introspection, but also for sharing and giving love. For you, Christmas became a state of mind.
I wish you love, peace, and inspiration! May your wings touch our spirit in the same great way this end of December and the years to come.
Hugs,
Camelia
