Unbridled Glee
unbridled glee
sets us free
on gossamer wings
with no binding strings
~
puppies and babies
don’t worry about stories
they reach out with glee
delighted to simply be
~
what’s your excuse
reasons like a noose
too afraid to reach out
too worn out to sprout
~
glee is not for the timid
let’s choose to be vivid
one blissful step at a time
measured in light sublime
~
This post is dedicated to my niece Bella who reminds me of the beauty in play.
Dude, the accompanying photo is wonderful. And your words, obviously poetic, with depth. Nicely done!!

Thanks Eric, I’m enjoying exploring my inner poet. Now if I could live as wide open as Isabella (my niece) and most children. Then I’ll be a master. 🙂

Thanks Line! That is my niece Isabella. Of course kids know glee, most of us adults need to re-learn!

Absolutely, I love being around young children who still live wide open to life and their inner light. It does make for a happy heart!
