Warning; the following material was channelled while under the influence of massive amounts of caffeine. OK, not massive, but I’m a SNAG, sensitive new age guy! The author can not and will not be held responsible for anything written or shared while under the influence of this magic bean.
Caffeine can do many wonderful things, like induce happiness, generate warmth, stimulate alertness, reduce cancer and increase metabolism. However, in my case, it often leads to the shakes, headaches, anxious feelings and general overstimulation. A really fun time for all. Like being awake and blogging three articles in a row at midnight!
When writing, I usually attempt to channel my deepest truth, in the form of my inner muse. I even call myself muse brad in support of keeping this channel open. As Martha Graham said, no artist is ever happy. We keep on, driven by divine dissatisfaction, in an attempt to allow and express the inner creative urges.
Keep the channel open. … No artist is pleased. There is no satisfaction whatever at any time. There is only a queer divine dissatisfaction, a blessed unrest that keeps us marching and makes us more alive than the others” Martha Graham.
Tonight, I’m channeling my inner caffeine fiend. What’s stimulates your muse? To coffee channels everywhere; allow the caffeine, divine discontent and other creative urges to flow freely. May the farce be with you.

Dear Brad,
I’m a super-duper-almost-always-charged-with-caffeine gal too ! Can you believe it…I’m just sipping on my coffee while writing this comment 😉
All hail the caffeine created creative kicks 🙂
Lots of love,
Z~

Thanks Z, I’m glad you enjoyed my playful post.
I feel inspired to do more of them. I’m an occasonal coffee drinker, but enjoy creative kicks! No twitter, only facebook & linkedin for now.

This was fun Brad! I’m channeling some coffee right now. 😉
It will come to no surprise to tell you that nature is what stimulates my inner muse. ❤

Thanks Julie. Nature is my sanctuary and inspiration too. ❤ Coffee is more of a distraction. 🙂

I need another cup of coffee, Brad, in honor of your post. Coffee is the elixir of the muse, the source of inspiration, creativity, and manic productivity. The mercenary muse and I knock it off at noon though, or we get fussy come midnight, and downright cranky come the alarm at 4 AM. Great post and drink up!

Thanks for joining the party Diana. 🙂 The muse and I are on a coffee detox, but I can relate to the fun, stimulation, etc. May we keep our muses well fed and inspired. 🙂

Great post Brad, in chase of the ever escaping muse 🙂 A great quote “no artist is ever happy. We keep on, driven by divine dissatisfaction, in an attempt to allow and express the inner creative urges.” Always wanting to push the envelope, develop a bit more. Coffee is king for me 🙂 Enjoying my HK morning right now with a nice cup before the day starts, a perfect muse.

I’m sure your muse gets premium batch brews (coffee, family, love, and more). May we feed our muses nothing but the best. Mine doesn’t actually like coffee, but I enjoy the humor and universal appeal.

Sadly I am not a great Coffee drinker.. Though I love its aroma Brad.. But that’s not to say Caffeine does not have its affect but I just compared the amounts.. 11mg in 100grams for tea compared with 40mg per 100grams in Coffee.. So no wonder I drink alot.. 😉 just to get to the same level as you Brad LOL. Loved your Muse dear Brad.. Keep making us HAPPY my friend…And enjoy that Coffee.. 🙂

Actually I love the aroma much more than the taste too Sue. I simple drink it once in a while and usually regret it from the craziness it does in my body. I’m very sensitive to the caffeine and acidity. But I love to play along with the culture of coffee, especially in the name of humor and connection.

Not really for me, but I like playing with the cultural obsession. 🙂

On very rare occasions I welcome the muse of caffeine into my life. And I get pretty darn jittery. My main muse, like Julie, is the natural world…
